Projects
All work displayed here was entirely created from scratch by Marcus Rivers in various software
Fantasy Cabin (2019)
This project was inspired on a walk one day when I saw a large house half constructed, and thought to make a complete animation of a house constructed from ground up. I spent a month researching building and construction techniques, and attempted…the impossible! …Alas back in those days, my PC was not powerful enough to be up to this task of animating an entire house of this scope, so I settled for some renders!

River Whitewater Gravelbike Concept (2019)
For this project, I researched exact dimensions of every component, and when this information was not available, I purchased parts and measured them with a vernier. In the animation, created in Cinema4D, I actually assembled the rear derailleur as a working model, and programmed it to change gears and adjust the chain line to take up the slack! Apparently this is really difficult. Meh!

UE4 Realtime Archviz (Early Raytrace Test)
After waiting 3 weeks for the bike animation to render, I started to look into other solutions and I found Unreal Engine 4, thus began my journey into realtime raytracing with another house model I had designed in AutoCAD and Cinema 4D. I soon realized I could make interactive 3D visualizations, and many items in this house are fully customizable, ie Lights, Painting, Cupboards, Windows, Blinds….

Mini PC Sheet Metal Animation (2017)
This was an Inventor Sheet Metal Project, where all the components were researched for exact sizes, and assembled into an assembly animation in a pirate copy of Cinema4D (I later purchased outright!)
